2001 TAKASHIMA Shop -First Step into Japanese Cosmetics
TAKASHIMA Shop took its next step by introducing a select lineup of Japanese cosmetics to the U.S. market.
Though the assortment was minimal at first, it marked the beginning of our journey into beauty — growing steadily from time to time as demand and appreciation for Japanese skincare evolved.
2007 TAKASHIMA Shop – Official Brand Launch in the U.S
Officially launched its first branded collaboration in the U.S., partnering with one of Japan’s most popular beauty companies — Ishizawa Laboratory.
This marked a major milestone in bringing trusted, high-quality Japanese skincare to American consumers under an official distribution framework.
2007 Formation of HITO Beauty Inc. – U.S. Distribution Begins now name: JCOSME international inc
In the same year, we established HITO Beauty Inc. as our official distribution company for the U.S. market.
With a dedicated structure in place, we began expanding the reach of Japanese beauty brands across the U.S., starting a new chapter in cross-cultural cosmetics distribution.

2013 TAKASHIMA Shop – Launch of CANMAKE & New Business Ventures
We proudly opened the doors to our Arcadia store, bringing the essence of Japanese beauty and lifestyle to a wider audience in California.
This retail location became a key touchpoint for customers to discover, explore, and fall in love with our curated selection of Japanese brands in person.
That same year, We entered a new business venture with IDA Group in Japan, setting the stage for future growth, deeper partnerships, and expanded brand offerings in the global cosmetics market.
2015 TAKASHIMA Shop – San Gabriel Expansion & CANMAKE Launch & Chantilly brand / Rosy Rosa / Mapepe/Chasty -makeup tools
TAKASHIMA Shop completed a major renovation of its San Gabriel location, expanding into a larger, more dynamic retail space to better serve our growing customer base.
This milestone also marked the official in-store launch of the CANMAKE brand, bringing its full collection to shelves and further solidifying its presence in the U.S. market.

2016 TAKASHIMA Shop – Cupertino Store Opens
Late 2016, TAKASHIMA Shop continued its expansion with the opening of a new location in Cupertino, California.
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, this store brought authentic Japanese beauty and lifestyle products to a tech-savvy, globally minded community.
2017 TAKASHIMA Shop – San Jose Store Opens
TAKASHIMA Shop proudly opened a new location in San Jose, further strengthening our presence in Northern California.

2020 New Investment & Business Ventures entered a new phase of growth through strategic Real estate investments and venture partnerships.
In 2020, we officially established a new LLC focused on real estate property investment, marking a strategic expansion beyond retail and distribution.
